What’s one of the best solutions to end burnout? A vacation,of course! I bet there are still a lot of places in the United States that you haven’t visited yet. However, before you begin daydreaming about traveling, you need to work out your itinerary first.
You’ll have to decide on your mode of transport, airfares or bus fares, activities to do, and most importantly, you have to decide on the places that you want to visit.
Luckily, I have a list of places I’ve been to and found them super fun. Here are the five states I suggest you visit soon!
Pennsylvania
Taking an interest in history these days is pretty rare, but there are still people out there whoarekeen to learn about historical events.
If you are one of those, you will be glad to know that Pennsylvania has a rich history. You can find a lot of places that are directly related to the Civil War and the American Resolution.
I recommend that you go to Gettysburg National Military Park since there is a lot to see there! It is a popular site in the center of Pennsylvania dedicated to commemorating the events that took place during the events of the Battle of Gettysburg, which turned the tide during the American Civil War.
Watching war remnants on TV is another thing, but visiting these places in the flesh is a whole other experience. So make sure that you add Pennsylvania to your travel list!
New York
New York:where the future comes to audition
Not mentioning New York here would have been criminal of me. There are a lot of places worth visiting in New York, for instance, I always make sure that I head to Jacques Torres’ Chocolate shop since I am very fond of its Hot Chocolate. I even take a couple of boxes back home with me! Also, don’t forget that the US side of Niagara Falls is in New York.
Other than that, you must also visit the most happening Times Square. You can go there at any time of the day, and it will always be hustle and bustle! You can take all the pictures you want as keepsakes!
If you want another perfect photo opportunity, you should go to the famous picture point in Dumbo. It gives you the perfect frame of the Manhattan Bridge behind you, doing diagonally between two buildings.
California
If you’re a fan of technology, then you can pay California a visit for sure! It has the famous Silicon Valley which houses all the famous tech giants such as Apple, the Intel Museum, NASA Ames Research Center, IBM, HP and so on.
However, that’s not all you can do in California. You can visit the Winchester Mystery House, the Computer History Museum, the Tec Interactive and California’s Great America!
New Jersey
Though New Jersey is the kind of State that gets pushed back into the shadows, there’s still a lot of fun stuff that you can do there. For instance, you can go to Atlantic City and enjoy all the rides on the boardwalk, or you can take the rides too! If not, you can sit on the beach and relax for a while. Atlantic City was also home to Trump’s Taj Mahal casino, but unfortunately, it was closed down.
Some other places that you can visit include the Alpaca Farm where you can interact with friendly Alpacas and learn more about them. You can visit the Princeton University Art Museum if you have a love for art. If you’re into amusement parks, then you should go to Six Flags.
Pro Tip:While on the road, it is important to be connected to the internet at all times so you can stay in touch with your loved ones and upload pictures on your social media. If you have Xfinity Internet at home, you can access Xfinity hotspots on the road!
Nevada
If you’re out to party, then Nevada should be on your list. Nevada houses the good old Las Vegas, and how can you miss out on the Las Vegas Strip? You must have seen it in a lot of movies and would have thought to yourself “I need to go there.” Well, now is the time.
If you’re a fan of bright lights, then Las Vegas is your way to go, so make sure you don’t miss out on it!
An Extra Pointer
Before you begin traveling, it is important to pack all of your essentials which includes your laptop too. This way you can keep up to speed with your work and you can stay in touch with your loved ones! Always remember to keep your family and friends updated with your activities.
